Today i got the feeling back for traveling that I first experienced in Mexico City 6 months ago.
Although i completely loved New Zealand and Australia, I wasn't real travel and seemed just like being back in England with the western culture and easy surroundings. This was pretty much the same in Kuta, just a resort town.
Ubud has just blown me away.
My first day here I went with an local bloke form my guest house on the back of his motor bike across some rice terraced fields and onto Hindu carved rock temples outside the city....culture hit me in the face..the place was simply un-explainable stunning.
More was to come, on the way back I picked up my first Dorian
Later in the afternoon I walked down to a monkey sanctuary, not just a sanctuary but somewhere with cool carvings, bridges and Hindu temples. By now i have purchased my own sarong to go in these temples. The cheeky little monkeys had no fear a one point the heavens opened and I had no choice but to hide under cover, I was soon pushed out my spot by the little blighters showing off there teeth.
Onto walking around the streets, Hindu offerings are place outside every shop and the architecture is old, everywhere and beautiful.
So after the holiday period of OZ I have rediscovered the traveling feeling. A long bus journey tomorrow across the water to Java, cheap accommodation and food, and even the shits have returned,,,quality
and yes I have hidden my memory card fills accidently, does any one know how to un hide them????????
