We arrived early afternoon and crashed out for the rest off the afternoon, this country is a big old place!!!
Airlee beech was a bit of a wash out for us, we had planned to go scuba diving or on a whit Sunday cruise, all was called off due to bad weather. Damn the tropical rain.
Alexa had read about cool bush walks, so we drove off to some locals falls called Cedar and later to Mount Rooper.
Still scared from the nasties things from the road trip we proceeded with cation up Mount Rooper, which had spectacular views over the Whit Sunday islands. On the way down, we soon realized that we had left the walk too late and darkness approached. At one point we lost the track back only armed with digital cameras and with cane toads all around us in the dark it wasn't the wisest thing I had done on my trip.
Although we did get back OK and Alexa used her cooking skills to knock us up a tasty spag bol.
