Another quick stop over before our long drive up to Airlie beech.

The original idea was to go turtle watching at Bundaberg, although along with our story of the East Coast it was booked up...i dont think we missed much because 300 people watching turtles doesn't really have the same experience.

Alexa joined us on our travels up the coast, although I dont think she knew what she was getting herself into.

So we went straight to Agnes Water and bumped into Yolanda and Karim. Along the way we took a wrong turn, ended up on a dirt track and almost hit a black snake, one of the most poisonous in the world.

Scared that more stuff would bite, stink or kill us we approached the rest of the day with caution.

The afternoon we chilled on the beech, sampled a bit of body boarding and beech footy.

Drinks later with the dutch duo and avoidance of more nasties, including Cane toads and large black beetles, one attached itself to Alexas tong, screaming away!!!
