Not had a great couple of days....
It really started on the Galapagos cruise when I lost a camera battery. Well I can deal with that not a biggie.
A day later once back in the hotel in Quito I noticed that my sleeping bag was missing. This could either of been lost in the baggage room at the hotel or taken from my room, either way a bit of a pain, especially considering I carried it through all the hot countries in central america.
It gets bloody cold here at night as i´m up in the mountains!!!
Worst was to come, yesterday I noticed that some money had been taken from my account. It looks as though someone has cloned my bank card. I think this probably happened in Miami, f##king hate those sepos as the Aussies would put it!
They managed to fleece me of $1000. Wankers!!!!
Well I should be able to claim this back. Its easy to prove it wasn´t me. The money was taken out in 1st Avenue in New York, while I was on a boat in the Galapagos. So i´ve supplied my bank with passport details, entry stamps to Equador, contacts at GAP to prove i was in Equador etc etc.
To top it off, when making a cup of tea to make it better (a cuppa always does). I broke my eternal flip flops. In many ways this is probably a good thing as they have been turning a darker shade of black recently, but been through a lot with them!!!
I was expecting to get robbed at some point in the old fashion way.....
.....instead some spotty little yank is spending my de niro on candy somewhere.
Anyway defenitely leaving tomorrow, back on the gringo trail to Peru and crazy Inca ruins.
