Aqaba
The following morning we had a quick argument with an arrogant French couple before heading back to the main road. We waited for about 30mins for a bus. The bus or mini bus arrived; we piled on with two Japanese tourists towards Aqaba. During the trip young Jordanians tried to speak to use, we got out our lonely planets and tried to talk back in very bad Arabic. We had only booked the resort two days before, but got a taxi to the Royal Jordanian dive centre and were more than happy on plush ness of the resort. Upon arriving we but our diving for that afternoon and the next two days. That afternoon we dived the house reef, which was OK but not spectacular. The fish quantity was limited; however there were loads of poisonous fish such as scorpion, stone, Lion and Turkey fish. I was also amazed by the number of puffer fish. The first night we ventured into Aqaba, big mistake as the resort had nothing to offer. The next two days we spent relaxing on the beech, diving, snorkellingb and smoking sheesa pipes. After ten days in the country we caught an express coach back to Amman and fly home the following day.
