Ros
This entry is genuinely going to be really quick. We arrived in Bangalore by bus, spent a long time trying to cross the road to the train station, couldn't get tickets for a train to Hampi, nearly keeled over from the pollution on the way to our hotel, were appalled by the price of our shoddy room (although liked the hotel cats), went to the railway reservation centre to beg for tickets and left the next evening.

In between times we went shopping, as that appears to be what people do in Bangalore (when they're not earning large wages, for India, in call centres) and spent a horrible amount of money. Ooops. We found one shop, called Fabindia, that was just that - fab :) We chose some fabric and they are making up curtains for us and sending them home. They couldn't believe we actually wanted to do this, as postage will be more than we're spending on the curtains, but it's still much cheaper than buying curtains at home so we're happy...much lighter in wallet, but happy.

Told you this would be short!
