Our train arrived at 6:30am. We've had some breakfast and are updating the blog before deciding what to do.
Ros:
Well we decided what to do. Assisted by a hotel bed that was alive with bugs, extremely rude hotel staff who decided that my passport was fake and wanted to confiscate it and call the police (or, we reckoned, more likely extort money from us), we checked out 8 hours after we checked in and ran for a little coastal resort called Varkala not far away! Ok, so we wasted 440 rupees on a night's hotel accommodation but there was no way we were staying there and everywhere else in Trivandrum seemed to be full or even more ropey!
