We've arrived!

Ros: We don't have long to write this blog, and we've managed to leave the cable for our camera back at the hotel so we can't even upload any pictures but we thought we should get something up so everyone knows that we're here and safe (we will hopefully get around to editing this entry later so that it's more interesting!)

Hugh: The flight was fine - we even got some veggie food (disgusting veggie food mind you - Ros). Randomly we met Waz (from work) waiting in the queue to get on the plane at Heathrow! But we left him at Amman on important Camp America business as we headed on to Bangkok.

The hotel is fine - perfectly clean and smart and quite cheap too! Although it's in a fairly quiet part of town, by the river. Just trying to decide where and when to head on ...... such tough decisions!

Ros: We seem to be acclimatising pretty well. Managed to get three hours sleep the night before we left (packing at the last second again....) and then about two or three hours max on the plane so we fell asleep at 10.30 last night and are fine now. Craving a cup of tea mind you...

Anyhow, we'll come back to this later when we have a camera and something more to write about!

Love from Ros and Hugh

Where we're staying in Bangkok:
P&R Guesthouse - 34 Captain Bush Lane, Siphaya, Bangkok.
Paying 900 THB for an ensuite aircon room. Hotel by the river near Siphaya pier and the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel. Really nice place - away from the noise and chaos of Bangkok. Does offer breakfast but we preferred the 'French' cafe around the corner (through the rivercity plaza) overlooking the river.
