Tokyo holiday from 26-12 to about 3-1

The day after Christmas, Hanako and I took the shinkansen (yay!) from Okayama to Tokyo to visit Pete and just relax, shop, visit Disneyland, etc. I didn't actually take many photos and most of those that I took didn't come out - really need a digital camera.
Anyway it really good to see Pete, who showed us a really nice time around Tokyo. We went to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harejuku, Disneyland, Disneysea, shopping, etc. Spent New Years at a shrine where we drank Amezake (?) received our fortunes for the year (Pete got a bum one last year and subsequently had a terrible year - so was too scared) and both Hana-chan's and mine were the best possible. All in all not a bad trip
