Dinner was at an Italian Restaurant called Espresso Italian Villa - surprise, pasta again. Tanner had a dream that pasta was attacking him. Spencer had a dream that he ate spaghetti and meatballs. It came true for dinner.
During the bus ride back, the boys conquered the girls in a Q and A hosted by Mr. Washington. All questions were about Virginia.

Was there a student named Michie on your tour???
I was confused when I saw the pix labeled 'Michie' as I was looking for a student by that name. It finally dawned on me that the location you were at was 'Michie Tavern' - wow, that sounds slightly Japanese to me. Ha, ha!
The experience with the colonial era costumed ladies looked very interesting and I see that there was some audience participation; albeit, not everyone looked very enthused... You know the song's line: 'I hope you dance!'
The weather is looking pretty mild so that's great.
I am somehow not acessing the bloggers' entries properly and have only been able to view the pictures but, hopefully, I'll figure it out and it will all become more meaningful to me. Will look again for the entries.
Thanks for keeping us updated here in Hawaii.

I thought the kids would get to eat rice and japanese food during the trip, but I guess not. I'm glad that you all got to meet up with Sheridan. Sheridan's mom said that Sheridan was happy to see all of you. I'm also glad that you got to see Monticello because Thomas Jefferson thought of himself as an architect and expressed his ideals in the design and interior decorations of that historic home. Stay safe and warm! love to you all.
