Our next stop was one I had been looking forward to for a very long time! We had a quick stop over in Innsbruck, Austria for about 2 hours. Innsbruck is a beautiful town set against a backdrop of the Austian Tyrol. I had seen it so many times watching Samantha Browns Passport to Europe, and we had finally arrived! One problem...the weather was starting to get cloudy and rainy!! It was so cloudy that you could not see the mountains. We were also supposed to go on a fake bobsled ride, but it was closed due to the inclement weather! The town did not disappoint however. We bought umbrellas, and wandered around to look for a lunch spot. Ilena and I ended up in an italian restaurant for some pizza, before making our way to the Swarovski store. We also walked into a really cool Scnaps (1 "s"!) store where the different flavors were filled in giant tubes all around the walls of the store. You can taste as many as you want before making a purchase. Sadly we did not buy anything, but we did try a few flavors

The Swarovski store was incredible. When you walk in, there are a few window displays with beautiful shoes studded with crystals. I think the brands included Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin to name a few. Nothing that you would ever see at the department store! The store had a few levels, 1 that featured jewelry, and the other that had incredible crystal figures. It was really a treat for the eye. They even have a trendy bar where you can drink champagne on crystal studded ottomans. Fancy.

The scenery on our bus ride was starting to get really phenomenal as the mountains rose to the sky and the fog was lifting up above them. I remember 1 of the rest stops was situated right in front of the mountains, and we all took pictures along side the road. The scenery and culture always made each rest stop seem special. I can't believe I am saying that rest stops are special haha. There were always different kinds of prepared food and things to buy in each one...so they were kind of interesting. Our favorite thing in each rest stop was the coffee, believe it or not. Once we hit Italy we couldn't get enough fill of Illy Cappuccinos!

On to Venice!
