There is a law that drivers must make 45 min stops every 2.5 hours, so the tour makes a 2 hour pit stop in Dresden, Germany otherwise known as the Florence of the North. The city was completely demolished during WWII, and rebuilt using many of the same bricks so most of the HUGE buildings have black markings. We walked around, grabbed some food from stands and I bought a beautiful black and white pencil sketch of dresden for about 15 euro (reproduction of course but it looks real. It was so hot that I actually stood in a public fountain for a few minutes to cool off...seemed like the norm thing to do. To Prague we go!
