Meredith's Birthday

Today, well, today was Meredith's birthday. If you'll remember, Meredith is the one who plays the violin for the Charlottesville Orchestra in Virginia. She turned 19 today. I can't even remember my 19th birthday... She seemed to enjoy her day. We celebrated her birthday with cake. I've posted a picture or two of the gathering. You can see the awful shirts that we wear on Monday for the guest to recognize us. Other days, it's pretty much a t-shirt and jeans.
Lunch was wonderful again today. We had a mediterean themed lunch with lamb, humus, scallops on the grill and other delicious food. Dinner was a full course Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimings. Apparently, you get tired of the good stuff after awhile, but for right now - it's pretty dang good.
Chelsea and I ran the Margaritaville happy hour this afternoon. Boy were there some drinkers! It's funny, cause I could have totally seen me on the other side having a rita or two. ;o) Afterwards, the guest played what's called pasture golf. I didn't stick around to play it. As you can imagine there's a lot of dodging mounds while playing golf. Instead, I went for another run tonight down the road. It's about a 2-3 mile run when you run to the end of the drive and back. Crazy, huh? I think I'm starting to adjust to the sea level. The run was hard, but not as hard as yesterday. Hopefully I will be fully acclimated by the weeks end. So, now, it's 9:30 at night and I plan on watching a movie and then heading to bed. It's been a long day, but from what I can gather - they all will be! ;o) Hope all is well in your worlds. Giddy up, Heather
