Yesterday was spent visiting the reclining Buddha. I guess it is a big deal to some people. I mean, he looked pleased and all, but I'm not convinced that I would be impressed by him in real life.
Last night was a blast! We walked through the huge malls of Bangkok, which are impeccable. There are a ton of fountains and art throughout the malls. Also a Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche dealership. There are a lot of wealthy people in this village. Oh, and I am pretty sure I saw the governor of Bangkok, he is probably famous to some people. If it means much to you, and you are jealous of me for seeing him, then be consoled by the fact that I considered taking a picture until I realized that he doesn't mean much to me. It is kind of like seeing the governor of North Dakota; I mean, would that have any significance to you?
The highlight of yesterday was supper. We went to an all-you-can-eat sushi bar. We were able to sit at a bar with a conveyor belt with endless quantities of Sushi and raw meats and vegetables. The raw meats and vegetables were to be put into the boiling soup pot placed in front of you. There were a few spices and sauces that could be added to his to make a delicious soup. Some of the stuff was weird; for instance, the tofu-shaped and -textured pieces that tasted like egg and a little bit of fish. Then there was the meat in the sushi that looked like crab, but was likely something different. Also, I am fairly confident that the orange stuff on my sushi was tiny fish eggs. I think I am okay with this They tasted alright, but were sticking throughout my mouth until I came back and was able to brush them with the brand-new toothbrush I bought in a 7-Eleven in Chinatown. Chinatown was a pretty good experience. It was very busy and had a huge marketplace. I really enjoyed it.
We are going to cook our supper tonight.

I am pretty sure that Thai food is the spiciest, ever!

This is Gregg.
Man if you get a chance, you should visit the Tiger temple.

Although I think it might be too far away from Bangkok. I've always wanted to go there anyway. It's awesome. These monks have a whole bunch of tigers there and they're really friendly tigers.

And you should go here too if you can. Oh hey I just read that it's like a 2 hours drive from Bangkok. Maybe too far for you, I don't know. Just FYI anyway.

I used to see a lot of pictures of this place and thought it looked awesome. I think it's in Bangkok. Maybe you've already been there.

Hope you're having fun on your great Asian adventure.
