What can I say, Mongolia is fantastic - they speak English, they have signs in English, they smile at you - it's fantastic. I'm not sure I'd be so enthusiastic if I hadn't just come from Russia, but I would definitely come back to Mongolia.
We arrived in Ulan Bator at about 6.30am on Tuesday morning and we were taken straight out to our Ger Camp. It was very touristy with other Brits and some Japenese tourists, but we were staying in a typical Ger Tent. The camp was in the middle of nowhere and the scenery was spectacular. After a sleep we walked across the plains to visit a real Mongolian family. They were busy milking their Yaks, but we were invited in and given some yogurt. We also went horse riding, which was a bit sore! Last night I met some English guys and we spent the night playing Pontoon with vodka shots. Today we're back in Ulan Bator, hopefully going to a nightclub tonight.

PS I've not fallen in love with a Mongolian - yet!
