Well it's time for my last minute panic. I've just found out that I've not got all the jabs I need and I'm running around like an idiot now trying to get them done. So much for my doctor knowing what she's talking about.
I've not been feeling very well this week. Sore head, runny nose, sore throat. I'm just hoping that I'll get it all out of my system before leaving on Monday.
Anyway a couple of people were asking what my itinerary was, so here it is as it stands at the mo:
Monday 9th June Leave Edinburgh at the crack of dawn to fly to Moscow
2 days in Moscow
Wednesday 11th June Leave Moscow on the Train
Thursday 12th June Arrive Ekaterinburg
Sunday 15th June Leave Ekaterinburg on the Train
Tuesday 17th June Arrive Irkutsk
Thursday 19th June Depart Irkutsk
Friday 20th June Arrive Ulan Uday
Sunday 22nd June Depart Ulan Uday
Monday 23rd June Arrive Ulaanbaatar
Thursday 26th June Depart Ulaanbaatar
Friday 27th June Arrive Beijing
Tuesday 1st July Depart Beijing for Hong Kong
I'll then be spending a few weeks in Hong Kong before deciding where to go next. Either back into China or onwards to Thailand or Australia. I need to reach New Zealand by 5th February next year, so my plans are quite flexible at the moment.
I'm not sure how many internet cafes there will be in Siberia and Outer Mongolia, but I will try and update when I can.
