Intrepid have cancelled all China trips up until 30th June and the trip I was supposed to be taking is fully booked until the end of July. It's actually worked out quite well for me though as I've changed to another trip, which is better than the orginal trip I was supposed to take and as Intrepid are doing a 20% discount at the moment it wasn't even much more expensive. Instead of going to Shanghai I will be going on a Yangze Cruise and visiting a Tibetan Monestary. I've also got a week between my train arriving in Beijing and the trip leaving Beijing, so I may see about getting a flight to either Shanghai or Japan for a few days, if it's not too expensive. This, of course, is all dependent on SARS and I may still have to cancel my China trip altogether.
