Well, only 6 weeks now until I leave and I'm getting a little bit nervous. It still hasn't really sunk in that I'm actually going to be away for so long, it all feels a bit like a dream at the moment. I've still got a lot to do before I leave. I still have to get visa's for Russia, Mongolia and China and that's supposing that the trip through China is still going ahead, what with SARS and everything. I still have to get all my jabs and although the doctor has given me a prescription I'm still not sure that they've included everything I need - I guess I'll need to read up on that! I've also still got to pack up all my belongings and get rid of as much stuff as I can. I still have an exam to sit, a guide camp to run and a Brownie holiday to survive before I can go and that's all in the next 5 weeks. I'm due to finish up at work on 30th May, which is less than 5 weeks now. I'm moving out of my flat on 2nd June and I'm planning to spend that week visiting family and friends before I leave on 9th June. I just know the next 6 weeks are just going to fly in.
