San Jan del Sur,  I went to this little beach town to check out the surf from the Nicaragua side.  Turns out, the town beach is pretty mediocre with no waves and that most people that come to San Juan actually stay ten to fifteen miles out of town on the really nice beaches.  Our hostel had a daily shuttle to the 3 different really nice surfing beaches.  We grabbed a shuttle and spent the day on a perfectly nice beach backed by dense jungle.  The waves were perfect for all surfing abilities but they were packed.   Tim, Emma and I arrived on a Saturday night with big plans to hit the town.   But once again after a few drinks Tim and I both felt ill and had to turn in ridiculously early.  Poor Emma, ever since she started traveling with Tim and me we have all been in bed by 10.   Both Tim and I have not felt right for while.  Not a whole lot to say about this place except stay on the beach and not in town.
