Cologne is the English spelling of this German city and it´s best known for its huge cathedral (the Dome). Diana and Flo were the most excellent hosts and were so hospitable, it was great!! They even gave us our own room, stuffed us with excellent cooking and drowned us in glorious German beer! Coming from Morroco this was even more of a treat!
Our first night there they took us out to an art exhibition/party at a Museum that was located right next to the huge Cologne cathedral
We spent this day wondering around Cologne, climbing up the massive cathedral and just checking out the city. The square where the cathedral is located also doubles as a public forum for anything you want to protest. We saw a protest towards civilians killed in Iran, one against death camps in China and one against Israel in Lebenon.
Our last night, Flo and Diana took us to a drum and base party (drummy techno for you electronic music haters). This was held in some club in some part of Colonge. Before we got to the club we hung at their friend´s house and he has the hugest collection of records we had ever seen. I think about 2000 in total. We danced the night away and met a bunch of really cool people.
