After that we got back to Kuta. We had a look at the site of one of the bombings and it was surrounded by colourful reaths and messages from the locals saying please don't let terrorists win etc etc. We wandered on the beach and around the shops for a few hours and then I got a taxi out to the airport. It wasn't till then that it really hit me that Ben and I were about to spend 6 weeks apart..
Our 3 days in the Sheraton were so relaxing. We ate so much our first breakfast because we hadn't seen a spread like it in months. Cheese - oh glorious cheese and sushi etc etc. We lazed by the pool, watched so many movies, sat in the hot tub and the sauna, ordered room service and did very little. It was fantastic. I ventured out as little as I could mainly just to email and go to the supermarket to get beer to put in our fridge. At night a band would play by the pool so we could hear them. Our room was really nice and airconditioned. The pool was on the ocean with a giant head that was the slippery slide you came out of the mouth. I know we took pictures, but I don't think we'd burnt them yet so I don't have them to put on (Ben!!!!!...) We got to relax which I honestly think was too much for Ben. He's a bad relaxer! It was our final 3 days together for a while so we made the most of it. Thanks Emma - you rule.
