We bussed it back to Bangkok where the plan was to do what Dave does best - party (and eat). We finally went to a couple of famous 'ping pong' bars where you unduly get ripped off as soon as you sit down. The girls on stage did not look happy and I question the authenticity of some of the tricks we saw like pussy ping pong. Some of the tricks were really cool though and we kept a dart (from pussy blow dart) which Ben stabbed Dave in the arm with. We went on to a large club called Hollywood where the cover charge was either 300b each or a 700b bottle of Jonnie Walker. We opted for the latter and were ushered into a club as big as a concert hall with a performance going on on the stage. It was mainly a club full of Thai's, but after the show dance music came on and then some hip hop. On our last day we hit the huge weekend market. You could spend days walking around and not see everything. Everything you could imagine is for sale here and I plan on going back to shop as it's very exciting. We saw lots of beggars who were often missing body parts. We even saw a young girl who had fallen forward begging in a sitting position. It proved that Thai people can really fall asleep anywhere.
That night - against the advice of every person in every travel agency we talked to - we took a taxi to the bus station and caught a bus (all by ourselves, not in an organised tour) to Ayuthya
