I arrived in Vienna just over two days ago and the first word that comes to mind is EXPENSIVE! Think old world riche and nouveau riche mixed together...
Well, on my first night here I went on a bus tour of the city at night and had an opportunity to go on Vienna's famous Ferris Wheel.
I met several interesting people, of particular interest was this crazy Italian and his wife, the two most Jolly people I have ever met! ...and they kept on calling my name..Loooouiseee...ha! Love it, I have to go to Italy!
Now, you know you're sick (or just sane) when you decline the Taxi driver's offer to go clubbing with him...luckily my hoarse voice was excuse enough for him! lol
Unfortunately, that's where the fun ends my friends.... I have spent the last day in bed all day with such a crazy fever that I think I became delirious, as I started to dream in German...I mean how crazy is that?! As if the fever wasn't bad enough, my throat is still on fire and combined with an awful sounding chest cough...things are not good....damn that stupid cold weather in Munich, I am positive that this is how I got sick (okay all you hecklers out there...NO, this is not because of all my partying...it was the cold weather! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!).
Although my fever hasn't broken yet, I feel able enough to venture outside, so looking forward to seeing some sights in daylight!
P.S. A couple of you have emailed me letting me know that they never saw the pics from Munich. So make sure that you are always looking at the table of contents of the blog not "last posted". Sometimes I post twice in a day so on those days you may miss the first blog and only catch the second.
Also, I am having a hard time finding Internet cafes allowing download/upload for my pics, so when I do find a cafe that allows this, I will go back to the original blog and post the pics in the appropriate areas.
Miss you all,
Cheers,
L.

5 - Famous Vienna Ferris Wheel
We then went to a traditional Wine Tavern. Now wine taverns can only sell one type of wine (typically their own brew), if they sell more than one type then they require a restaurant /liquor license. In this particular tavern I tried their white wine...truly excellent! I also tried their red wine...hmmm..how do you say...crap?! I met several interesting people, of particular interest was this crazy Italian and his wife, the two most Jolly people I have ever met! ...and they kept on calling my name..Loooouiseee...ha!
