Well it's finally time to get to the airport and start this rock'n adventure....

I've decided to take a cab to the airport since last night we had unexpected car troubles...yes, I know... completely classic...

I was dropping off my car at parents place and they were going to drive me back home, and I get in my parent's car and the car battery dies. completely DEAD. Hmmm, did I mention that these things just seem to happen to me???!

Anyways, I played it safe and left the house today 3.5 hours early to go to the airport. I had a nice political discussion with the taxi cab driver regarding the horrendous state of our economy, political leaders and again ...way too much information regarding personal political views.... Must be a cab driver thing...

Now, you may be thinking...3.5 hrs early?? 3.5 hrs early for the Ottawa Airport...why Louise, oh why??:-) Well...my fear of transportation failure led to a wonderful event.... the ticket agent at United Airlines took pity on me because (a) I was the ONLY person in line and, (b), because he heard the story of why I was traveling alone, so he bumped me to Business Class! Yep that's right babe...Business Class all the way to Germany! Munich here I come...

P.S. To the family... the UA ticket agent made me promise to share the fact that there were 4 remaining business seats available...so...had you come along, you all would have been in a nice luxurious flight to Europe with me.... heh heh... (well, that's what he said anyways!)

That is so wicked! Super jealous right now...hope the flight was awesome...but I'm assuming I'll find that out when I flip the next page..lol
