Wow so where do I start?

We did xmas in Punta del Diablo. An amazing group of fellow Peace Corps folks and other travelers. We bought fresh fish everyday on the beach, made delicious meals, and drank a lot of beer.

We made our way south 30K to Cabo Polonio. A little hippie colony with no electricity and gracias a dios we found a little shack "hostel" to stay in with 9 people. Another amazing fish fry, the third largest colony of sea lions, and bioflourescent plankton in the ocean at night. It was the coolest thing i've ever seen, you wave your hand or foot and are followed by hundreds of little green flashing lights... Sorry no pictures, didn't even bother...

We stayed two nights and I had to say a hurtful fairwell to TK and Kevin, my best PC friends. I went back to Punta del Diablo and stayed with some other volunteers for another 5 days and new years!

Fireworks and champagne on the ocean for New Years...

Here are some pictures of the whole 10 days. The explanations are in with the pictures. Thanks to all our friends, the Yancey Brothers, who I shall meet up again, TK and Kevin, to be continued, Jenny, take care of him, Stefi and Phil, selling DNA, and Johnny the best guide 3 knuckleheads could ask for! And to Ms Maria Espaņola, sorry we only had the one week... un beso

To start off my journey in Uruguay was the right decicion, amazing people, excellent free libre beaches, pleanty of jams and shenanagans... Off to Montevideo, Colonia, then Buenos Aires.
