The next day me Helen and Katie rent a car and drive to Antelope Canyon where we have to take a tour to see the canyon. The canyon is amazing, it is a slot canyon which water has eroded and looks beautiful.

We then drive to Lake Powell where we decide to camp for the night at Lone rock. We get our car stuck in the sand but luckily get towed out by threenice Americans. We feel slightly out of place in our little tents compared to all the massive camper vans parked along the lake. We spend the afternoon swimming and then enjoy a few beers as the sun sets.

We spend the next morning by the lake and in Page before we drive into Utah to Bryce Canyon. By the time we get there it is nearly dark and we have a quick look at one of the viewpoints which gives us a taster of what we have to look forward to tomorrow. We head to the campsite, put up our tents and go to bed.

We are up early the next morning and drive to the visitor centre to see where we should go. We are recommended a walk so go and do that. Our first proper view of Bryce is amazing - the rock formations (Hoodoos) are realy cool and the colours are beautifull. We do the walk along the edge and then down into the canyon which gives a completly different view.

When we have finished at Bryce we drive back to Lake Powell where we go for a quick swim before driving back to Flagstaff. We then have a couple of days to rest and explore the town before our next project.
