Well, Tony has finally done it!  He saw bears in the wild!  Today, we saw a grizzly!  We also saw a brown bear, we saw elk, big horn sheep, eagles, and of course buffalo.  We slept in a bit this morning and woke up to rain pounding on the roof.  We got ready and headed to the park.  We saw some more sights, some hot springs, mountains, snow, and beautiful terrain. There was a blad eagle sitting in his perch.  We ate lunch at a nice little grill near the park headquarters and really just kept going all day. Jack said that he liked the brown bear best because he got to play in the snow while we waited for him to come our way.  We got out to do one hike on the plaines and Tony ran into a former student that is now at NKU; what a small world!  We returned to the campground to have late snacks and a bit of relaxation.  Tony and Jack are back at the camper getting ready for bed and I am up doing laundry for all of us.

I love BEARS!!!!!!! The Grizzly is a great Picture! The weather must be unique out there. Some of the Pictures Jack has on Tee Shirt and the next he is playing in snow!! Snow would feel good here since the temp is around 90 everyday. Be Safe !!!!

I read your article about not getting as excited when you see a buffalo. It's the same feeling we all have when we go west. There are so many that it gets a little boring after a while. But they are grand animals and I am glad they are still around for us to see. If you have not made it, make sure you go to Inspiritation Point. As far as scenery we think it is the most beautiful place in Yellowstone. Be safe and have fun.
