Where I stayed
Well, today was the first day that it was actually beautiful and what a wonderful day for it....we got up this morning and took the scenic drive through Bear Tooth Mountains; it is one of the top ten drives in the whole country and hopefully we can show you why! It went from desert to ice haven all in the same trip; we saw beautiful waterfalls, icy lakes, and a snowboarder doing flips. We had a picnic lunch on a rolling stream and returned back to the campsite. We tasted a local brew: Snake River Pale Ale (shout out to Josh!) and then we got ready for the gun fight. We went into town and saw Buffalo Bill's hotel, called the Erma. The original bar was sent to him from the Queen and was originally appraised at 150 thousand in the day...so we can't even begin to put a price on it today. Outside we ate and watched a great reinactment of a shoot out; this was by far the longest and most interesting...it was much like a play. We shopped the strip and then....hold on to your horses...we went to a real RODEO....YEEHAW! Jack loved it and even got to go out on the dirt and chase a calf with all the kids. They had races, roping, comedy, and at the end...people riding bulls. That was our day today, folks!
