Hello everyone :)
It's been a little while since my last entry but really there isn't too much different with us. We are really busy with projects for classes and I think we'll both be glad when they're all finished.
Friday morning, Ben and I are flying to Dublin, Ireland. That was my birthday present to him because I knew he had always wanted to go there. We are both really excited to go there and get away for a couple days. We'll be flying back on Monday. We won't have our laptops with us, and I doubt that our phone works, so if you don't hear from us thats why.
On Thursday, Alan will be flying in to spend the next week with us so I'm sure we'll all be going out that night for Ben's birthday with the flatmates. Friday night we're planning on taking a bus down to Oxford to visit Gabi & Hermes. We're so excited to see them.
The 28th, Mom and Matthew are flying over and spending a week here in Glasgow, so I think we're going to ride up to Edinburgh to see the castle and maybe up to Loch Lomond. It's hard to tell what else we might do, I guess whatever they want. I'm sure lots of shopping will be done.
We're so glad that they all are coming over to spend time with us, I think we've both been a little homesick the past week or so, with the holidays coming up, nothing dramatic or anything, we just miss the little things. It's amazing what sights & sounds you can take for granted. It will be nice to have a connection from home here with us :)
The shops are buzzing with Christmas songs & the streets are slowly starting to get busier more often. We usually try to avoid 'town' on the weekends as it is SOO busy.
It's amazing how fast time is going, before we know it, we will be home. And then it will almost be Christmas so I'm sure Ben & I will still be busy trying to finish up our Christmas shopping :)
Matthew turns 16 on Monday, so watch out if you're on the roads!! haha. I can't believe he's that old already. I remember the first time I saw him when he was born. It doesn't seem that long ago.
I hope everything is well with everyone. We miss you. And can't wait to see you all in December!
