Today we made our way to Edinburgh. On our way we stopped in Durham. Durham is a beautiful city, that reminds me of San Gimignano in Italy. It had such beautiful architecture. While in Durham we were able to see the Durham Castle from the outside. I wish we could have seen the inside but the University was in session so we couldn't. Instead we went inside the Durham Cathedral which was beautiful. I think I got some pretty nice pics of the outside.

After we visited Durham we made our way through the countryside. On our journey we stopped at a place called "Hadrian's Wall." It was a defensive fortification in Roman Britain. Begun in AD 122, during the rule of emperor Hadrian, it was the first of two fortifications built across Great Britain.

After the wall we passed through the boarder of England and Scotland. Here we were able to take a few minutes to take a few pics.

Finally, we made our way to Edinburgh, Scotland.

Time to get some sleep...we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow.
