When I woke up Friday morning, I felt like sh*t. The shivers, feeling like my head was 3x the size (not including ego, ha-ha). I really didn't feel like driving and figure the road out. I decided to stay put, the motel was kind enough to charge me the weekday charge instead of the Fri/Sat (almost double), and that was very nice. I've been sucking on the zinc lozenges like there is no tomorrow, downing the Echinacea and all vitamins in my arsenal. I add the attack from the food side via chicken noodle soup (spiced up big time) and cups of spicy chili, trying to get this bug out of my system as pronto as possible because it's no fun to be in a place that you don't know and feel like crap. Bought a bottle of hot sauce because everything that they consider spicy is flat as a button, hahaha so I can really spice it up!
Yesterday I had to move on, no matter how I felt. The show must go on...

I discovered I missed the ferry from Portland, Maine that goes to Nova Scotia, it runs up to October 6th, bummer... I scraped myself together and drove to Springfield, Massachusetts. A town about 85 miles east from Boston. All I wanted to do is sleep and win the battle of the mucus (yeah, yuckiest)

The drive was about 4 hours, the rain kept on hammering all day, and it's amazing how the clouds can keep pounding the earth with that much water! My only mission was to get here, get chicken noodle soup, get to bed and sleep, sleep. Well, it was a crap shoot at the motel, had a bad night sleep, stuff didn't work, and if you feel sick, everything effects you a bit more. They gave me a refund for the night when I took the issues up with the manager this morning and I'm getting out of here......

Later alligator!
