Arrived here on Koh Tao this morning and headed to Crystal Dive resort. Its so beautiful here, picture perfect stuff. The resort is right on the beach, its like a little village of beach apartments and everyone here is on the scuba courses. We started ours today with the first theory modules. our instructor, andy, is a good laugh and the people in our group seem really nice. Into the pool tomorrow morning for our first practical stuff then some more theory in the afternoon, then on friday after an exam we head out for our first open water dive. think we do just to 12m on friday and then a couple more dives on saturday and we'll be PADI certified to dive anywhere in the world to 18m!! woooo! am so excited. got a huge theory book though, but the stuff doesnt seem to be too hard, think once we've been in the pool with all the gear tomorrow everything we learned today will start making sense.
