Had another great day here in Yangshuo, went for lunch then we were gonna hire bicycles and ride to a small town called Fuli, but instead we hired electric bikes like scooters basically and were able to go a bit further. its pretty safe riding around here cos there are cycle lanes alongside every road, then when we got to Fuli we turned off the main road and went up a smaller road with hardly any traffic, it was beautiful, felt like we'd stepped back in time and got a glimpse of the real China, people harvesting their rice and drying it out and wakling oxen and stuff, and the scenery is amazing too. Think ive said it already but the photos cant do it justice. Rode up to a small town called Xingping and had an ice cream there then turned back round and headed back to Yangshuo.
Went and got some video footage when we got back but had turned hazy so its not the best. had a nice meal near the river then went along the shopping street and bought some abercrombie and fitch cut off combats (real ones, obviously!!) for about 2 pound. everythings so cheap here i love it!! Off on the bus to Hong Kong tonight and will meet Paul and his friends tomorrow!
