There are a variety of pools within the complex, all at different temperatures of water. I started off with a soak in a 30 degrees pool, which was the perfect temperature. The next one I got into was outdoors and much hotter at about 38 degrees I think, a little too hot. After turning into a prune I felt it was time to cool off, so I thought I'd give the 19 degrees pool a try, aaaahhhhh!!! It was soooo cold!! Anyways, after about 2 and a half hours of soaking I was seriously getting wrinkled up, so it was time to do one and get out. Claiming my 200 Ft on the way, what the strut, that's not even worth €1! And the miraculous foot recovery I'd be hoping for hadn't happened dammit. It was just the opposite, I think all the heat had made it swell and go all nasty and painful, boo hoo.
Headed back to the hostel on the metro system, which apparently was the first built in Europe. It certainly looks like one of the oldest (read worst) that I've been on. I wasn't too impressed with the ticket system either....
Well, time was up, the end of my last day in Budapest. Overall I was a little disappointed in the city, I just didn't feel anything from it.
