I had got friendly with a couple who were waiting for the rest of the group to return as the husband had been ill and had turned back at Dingboche. The wife had kept with him and had spent a lot of time waiting but we had now began to show signs of improvement.
The plan was to walk for about an hour or so and then where ever we are we will return back to Namche. We followed the path towards Thame but did not get as far as last time. We took our time and we saw some more flowers and rhododenrons as small trees.
The path is still dusty but is fairly level as it goes around the mountain side, it is as near as flat as it could be in such a mountainous area. We passed by some trees that had yellow flowers on them and they reminded me of forsythia but I am not sure what they were.
Everywhere we walked you could see the noisey crows but apart from that it was very peaceful.
Eventually we headed back to Namche where we would eat some lunch.
After we had had our lunch Bhimsen played cards (again) for a short time and I had a rest ( well I looked out of the window to watch the next lot of trekkers arriving from Phakding.)
In the late afternoon Bhimsen had finished playing cards and wondered if I would like to go for a short walk ( of course I would)
When he wakes up we return back down the hill and pass the hotel who is supporting an all female atempt at the summit ( they were successful). ( Just shows some females have managed to enter this predominantly male field of climbing.
At the end of the day after we turn to the lodge I make a start on packing my bag ready for our trek down to Phakding the next day.
Once again there are new groups staying tonight many on the acclimatization day. Some like us are on the way down. All those going down several will fly out the same day as us so we will meet them again at the airport.
