The walk through town takes us to the area near the Sigmund Thun Gorge and back through the woods up to Klammsee (the lake we visited yesterday). We have a lot of fun with the llamas. They like to be stroked and sometimes scratch their faces on our shoulders
At the lake, we unload the llamas and take our sacks to a nice shady bench to enjoy our picnic lunch by the lake while the llamas hang out by the fence and eat grass. The kids also get to do some panning for gold in the lake after eating their lunch. They find little colored rocks and nuggets of gold rocks. The llamas are ready to trek back to the ranch so we head off back through the mountainside and town to the ranch. The kids help unsaddle the llamas and give them some special treats.
After our llama trekking we head off to meet our pilots for paragliding down from the mountain Scmittenhohe from Zell am See. We finally meet up with our pilots at the summit of Scmittenhohe at 10 minutes before 5pm. The final cable car to take Jim and I down the mountain departs at 5pm so we must not miss it or else we have hours to walk down the mountain! So unfortunately we have only time to see Eve and Daniel suit up for the paragliding and run to the cable car. They are left on the mountain summit with Adler and Tom, the pilots. While we are in the cable car, the kids run off the top of the mountain. Both kids report that it is difficult to run while the wind is pushing the chute back but they both make it off the mountain without trouble thanks to the pilots
Now that we are all officially super tired (and Eve's shoulders are very sunburnt despite all the sunblock)... we head to the market to get some food for dinner and go home to cook it up, eat and relax before falling asleep.
