We left Gloucester this morning around 10 and went through the Annasquam Canal and up into Bigalow Bight. It was an easier run than yesterday and quite a pleasant trip. We arrived in Pepperal Cove which is Kittery Point around 4ish. Put down the anchor and had a rest. We are travelling with a boat called Rhiannon out of Rothesay Yacht Club and they picked up a town mooring and went in for groceries etc. Miriam is looking for lobster so I told her if she found some she could pick me up one too... Then around 5:30 mum's friend Jonathan went by on his ferry from Star Island so we had to go out on the bow and wave madly... he got the captain of the ferry to honk his horn... so we took our air horn out and gave it a couple of shots... (Dad uses it if someone drags their anchor...He hauls it out and gives a long blast and then you see peoples heads coming out of their cabins and people all running around on their deck to re-anchor... ) Early night tonight as it is a 60 + nautical mile run tomorrow to BoothBay Harbour... Home in about a week, weather depending... we may have to sit out some winds in BoothBay... but we'll wait and see...
