After running a little bit from one terminal to the next in Jakarta, meeting once again with travelers that we spent time  together in Malaysia, a bartender from Gillie T, Cous-Cous, he claims that is his name, I arrived in Bangkok for the second time on this trip, busy as always, I decided to go to north Thailand, to the mountains, to an old city with a moat and walls all around!!!!!
When I arrived to Chiang Mai, my feeling was that somebody should put a few old clay bricks on Okeechobee road and Hialeah would be an ancient city too!!!
They do have a wonderful Sunday night Market and some Temples but that is it...
To give it a fair chance I went next day on a tour to the highest point in Thailand which is the beginning of the Himalayas, saw two nice waterfalls and a tribe of people with the long neck, the neck was normal size, but ....
After so much history I decided to go back to Bangkok .
