We finally got a vacation!!!  This week we had vacation from January 26-30.  I went to Bali with two of my co-workers, Jasmine and Christine.  We left on Monday and got home on Friday.  Bali was beautiful.  It was pretty funny though because we got a great deal in order to take our tour with a Korean tourism agency.  So, our tour group was all Koreans and the tour was all conducted in Korean.  Jasmine and Christine did a pretty good job of translating for me, but every once in a while they were listening and didn't tell me what was going on.  It was pretty funny actually, so I'm not quite sure of everything that I saw.  Our resort was pretty awesome.  It was right on the beach and the tallest building on the island.  We actually went to the roof and got to look around at the island from there.  We stayed in a small cottage room and had a great porch with an outdoor bed to lay on for a siesta.  The first day we met our tour group and had dinner (Korean food).  We then went to the beach for a little while for a beer on the sand.  We took a little walk to a restaurant and had some pizza with fruit on it as a late night snack Jasmine and Christine in the pool

 .  The next day we spent the morning at the pool and then the tour group went to a cultural park, a temple with crazy monkeys that tried to steal things and a coffee factory.  We had dinner and then had a 2 hour sport massage. 
The next day was our free day and we went river rafting.  It was absolutely incredible.  We had to hike down about 20 "flights" of stairs carved out of the rock wall to the river.   In our raft were just Jasmine, Christine, the guide and myself.  There were small rapids, but it was much more of a scenic tour.  There were carvings in the rock walls and incredible waterfalls. It was just incredibly beautiful.  It was rafting through a tropical forest.  That night we went to dinner at Ku Da Ta, which was also amazing.  It is a greek food restaurant in the wealthy part of Bali. 
On our last day we toured several more factories and traditional areas.  We also got a massage with hot stones which was sooo incredible.  If you've never done this before, I highly recommend it.  Oh, we were definitely tired by the time we left, but it was an amazing vacation.  Our plane didn't leave until 12:50am and I slept from the "safety features" to "prepare for landing".
