Hey friends!  I'm so sorry its been so long since I've made an entry.  I ran into some really busy times with work here.  Christmas was great except for having to work that day.  New Year I spent hanging out at home watching Futurama and Simpsons.  That was exactly what I wanted to do though, it was sooo cold outside and I had to work the next day.  We just finished 5 weeks of a winter intensive program at school.  The kids had a long break from thier schools so we added a class for them to take in the mornings.  I had 4 kids that I taught from 11 to 12:30am, and then began my regulary work day.  It was a fun class with a lot of really neat interractive games to play on the computer.  I think the kids learned a lot from the program and I always came away from it thinking it was a fun class, but it sure did make my days long and my mornings early.  My kids were all so great on my birthday.  I got all kinds of gifts, mostly candy and other food.   One girl gave Jasmine (another teacher) and I matching teddybear-angel rings and one student gave me a necklace.  My little boys drew a big heart on the board and put all of their names in it.  They are all 5-6 years old.  It was one of my favorite birthdays.

I've been spending a lot of weekend time at the Live Bench where we play music.  I am officially the technology person for the Hanam-si band. I also get to play the bongos sometimes. :-D  I have a great group of friends here.  Thank you to everybody who sent me gifts and cards.  It means so much to me when I get something from home.  Check out my next blog for my vacation trip to Bali.
