Thanksgiving with the Duhe's & Winter Wonderland

The ski slopes were already open and bustling, I can't wait to come back in two weeks to go skiing in the Alps for 4 days before heading back to the US (yes, it's that close!)
Happy (late) Thanksgiving!
My Thanksgiving took place a few days AFTER Thanksgiving, but it was nice and homey nonetheless. The group of us from Paris all went to stay at Taylor's for the weekend and it was a perfect Thanksgiving weekend. With the non-stop Christmas carols playing while we cooked up a feast, it definitely got me in the Christmas countdown mood! We took a day trip on Saturday into the Alps to see Interlochen and Grindelwald. Everything was snow-covered and looked like it was straight out of a fairy tale. Do people actually live up in those mountains??? We saw so many little huts up in the mountains, essentially right on the ski slopes! But apparently they only live in those houses in the Spring/summer because you can't really get to them during the winter...
