Went for a walk around Mysore this afternoon and explored the Maharaja's Palace which was very ornate as you would expect. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures of the inside which was a shame because that was the best bit.

We also visited a Gothic church which wouldn't look out of place back at home.

Near the church was a little place that made oils and incense so we had a look in there and saw how they made the incense sticks. Everywhere burns incense in India, even the taxis and tuk tuks!

Speaking of tuk tuks we had a bit of a race on the way to dinner which I don't think the locals approved of too much but our driver seemed to enjoy it!

After my big lunch I didn't fancy much for dinner so decided a banana split was a good idea...well, I am on holiday! I have to say it was really good! It was my Mum's birthday yesterday and she loved a good banana split on holiday (when my Dad could persuade her) so I had her in mind too.

I rounded it off with a mojito which was a good way to end the evening. Also stopped by a bangle shop on my way back to the hotel and bought two sets for 90 rupees, beats Accessorize!
