Day 68 Fri 6th Jan 2006
Day 2 at Satguru Partap Singh Ji Hospital
Today was a long day. We started out at 9, Sheera came to pick me up, and we went to the hospital. This time they had to get the anaesthetist to put Sunny to sleep so they could do the EEG tests. We got the results in the afternoon and went to see the doctor for his verdict. He basically said they need to control the fits he is having first, he started a new course of medication and has given some charts for us to record the amount of fits Sunny has and how severe they are. He has asked them to go back in a month and see if things improve with the new medication. I hope it makes a difference, I'm quite confident that the treatment they will get from there is amongst the best available. After the hospital we went to drop Bahbi and sunny off at home and made our way to Jalandhar to pick up the girls. We got there about 8pm, I turned up at the house and Daveena had just been sick all over the bed, I couldn't catch my breath, I thought it had to happen now! She had been asleep and woke up shortly before I got there. We took her to a local doctor, can I just say I think all these guys are about as dodgy as they come, they just give some concoction of tablets and hope for the best! We had no choice I took the medicine he gave us, Bhabi said she would not eat the tables but I persuaded Daveena to take them and like a true tough-cookie she did. We got home around 9.30 and packed all our stuff, we got everything into my backpack so we only have to worry about one bag (or I only have to worry about one bag!). we have to get up at 5 in the morning in order to get to Jalandhar for the 6am train, I know the girls aren't looking forward to that bit and neither am I!!!
