A day in Jalandhar, trying to do the last minute shop.
I didn't sleep very well last night and found myself wide-awake by 6am. I went outside the house to see what was left of last nights madness, we made quite a mess (see vid). We left for Jalandhar on the Bullet around 9ish, hoping to be back for the afternoon. As per usual things in Jalandhar didn't go according to plan, a couple of things that were supposed to have been made were not ready so I have to go back for them on Saturday. I got my outfit back and it looks great! I must say out of all the tailors I have come across over the years this guy has been by far the best, if anyone is going to get and Aichkin made from Jalandhar, mail me for this guy's details! I managed to get a Dhol sorted too, it was much harder than I thought it would be but I'm happy with the Dhol, hope Jag is too
307 The morning after Diwali
! Today was ok in all but the one thing that wound me up was Soma whingeing on about how he hates Jalandhar and he only come here when he is with me, well you know what dude, do us both a favour and stay at home next time! (and yes I did tell him that!). I think it's time to make a move from here, I really need a change of scenery. I love my Pind and all that but I really need to see something new! By the way the ear situation is worrying me, my right ear is still messed up. I can't hear very well with it and I think I may have burst my eardrum (pure speculation). I was going to get it checked out here but I think I'll wait till I get home. Maybe one of you can help? If you close your mouth and hold your nose, then try and blow, should you hear air going out from your ear? I do in my right ear, if anyone know what the crack is please e-mail me and let me know. That's it for today, I'm kind of counting down the days till I go home now.....
