Beautiful Dubai
Today was a day of rest, well kind of. I went for a walk down by the creek today, I left at 10am, thinking I would be there for a couple of hours. When I got there I found this quiet place with some shade, next thing you know I was lying on the bench having and afternoon nap! I think I will be spending more time down there. I walked past this restaurant that had the biggest Shawarma kebab I have ever seen, I just had to take a picture, just for you TJ! I came back to flat and we had lunch, I am making the most of home cooked food it's one of the thing I'm missing. After lunch we went out to the Gold Souq (market) I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, Its just like any other place in Dubai, full of shops! Except they all sell gold, the prices are not that cheep either. I went with Nisha and Aksh, after a while Aksh got tired and was ready to come home, that meant we all came home. I uploaded 8 of the 16 travelogues I have done, it took about 2 hours. I have planned to go on the Tour Bus tomorrow so that should be good. I really enjoyed my time by the creek today, need more of that right now. There was an earthquake today that affected India and Pakistan, when are people going to realize that what goes around comes around. Mother nature is watching us all!
