We were due to be met at KK airport but no minibus showed up. A very helpful information desk phoned the resort, who claimed they did not know we wanted transport (despite having photocopied our itinerary when we arrived) and would send someone. I was wondering about who was going to collect us for our next episode tomorrow and a phone call to the tour company assured us that it was the resort's responsibility. An hour later the minibus turned up and we drove through the busy town traffic back to the resort.
No apology was given for the lack of transport, just a reason that the tour company normally provided it (despite me mentioning the copied itinerary). I reminded them that they were providing our (very early) transfer tomorrow.
Puzzled looks were followed by a phone call to the tour company. The outcome was that the resort say the tour company will transfer, the tour company say that the resort will transfer. This could be interesting!
Supper in the restaurant was again the delicious giant prawns, I could really get hooked on these, before an early night.
