Day Sixty-Two

We moved on to San Elijo State Beach today to enjoy a couple of days of sun and surf. Unfortunately, despite a bright sunny day the wind was strong and chilly all day and rain is predicted overnight and through the rest of the week. Kudzu's Mom and I spent the day walking the beach and exploring a few of the shops in the nearby town of Encinitas while Kudzu snoozed in her usual spot behind the passenger seat in the truck. After a dinner of tuna burritos, rice, and Coors Light, we spent the evening catching up on old times by a roaring fire overlooking the Pacific and a full moon.
