Drivers feel the heat in stay-awake bid

POLICE in south-west China have started serving drivers raw chillis at service stations to stop them falling asleep at the wheel.
According to traditional Chinese belief, people often feel sleepy in the spring. Most of the drivers are from Sichuan, Yunnan and Hunan provinces, where chillis are a favourite.

I will have to check out at my local gas station down the road . . .
