Well, the White Rabbit is out of hatch again.
The popular candy made in China was banned for a while (though not here in Yunnan) because it was found to be tainted with melamine.
Now it is back on the nation's shops with a new quality sticker confirming it is free of any poison.
What a relief.
The company did a promotion in a Shanghai mall last month and sold out quickly. They reckon consumers have a forgive and forget attitude.
Though one consumer on a bulletin board did leave this message:
"If we eat the white rabbit candy, we'll be the lab rats."
