It must be karma for Sharon Stone, as she hasn't been invited to the Shanghai International Film festival after she said the Wenchuan earthquake was the result of bad karma.
"Stone and her films will not appear at the Shanghai International Film Festival, and will never, ever," Tang Lijun, deputy secretary-general of the festival, was quoted as saying on the news website Xinmin.cn last Wednesday.
And despite being the face of cosmetic company Christian Dior, the star of Basic Instinct won't be welcome in China.
"Due to customer reaction we have decided to pull her image from all of the department stores and from all of China," Dior China said in a statement released on Thursday.
Stone made her comment about the earthquake at the Cannes Film Festival on May 22.
" This earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma?" she said.
